This weeks 20+ play chart gives off an overwhelming amount
of useful information for this week’s matchups. However, the most important
information has to do less with one player, and more with an entire team. That
team would be the Packers.
They are struggling mightily this season, and many fans and
players are starting to press. Why the early season struggles though? Well if you remember my early season ranking
of QB's, one thing I noted was the loss of Packers Offensive Coordinator Joe
Philbin, now Miami’s coach. How important was this loss? Well, the Dolphins
have 19 passes of 20 or more yards, with the Packers having only 13. Yes it’s
only six but considering your comparing Aaron Rodgers and....Ryan Tannehill, that’s
troubling. If the Packers can revive there down field passing game, there
season might turn around. If not, sorry cheeseheads!
Below the Chart I will have a couple quick notes on matchups
this week.

Patriot’s vs Seahawks- This is an odd matchup for Seahawk
fantasy players. You’re not benching Marshawn Lynch, but tamper your
expectation, as the Seahawks have only 1 run of 20 or more yards, and the Pats
have allowed 0 rushes of 20+ yards. But if you’re in need of a WR start, Golden
Tate and Sidney Rice look to be good flex plays, facing a defense that has
allowed the NFL most 20+ pass plays.
Bills at Arizona: If your risky and desperate, Lerod Stephens
Howling could be a high flyer against the NFL’s worst rush defense. The Bills
have allowed 7 runs of 20+ yards and rank 31st in points allowed to RB's.
Colts at Jets: If you’re looking for a higher end flex
start, Donald Brown may be your man. Yes, the Colts have zero 20+ yard runs,
but the Jets have allowed 7. Something has to give and Brown is the main ball
carrier, meaning he will likely reap the rewards.
